Our strength in God derives from submission of our ego to God through the Holy Spirit so that His strength may be manifest in us, enabling God’s will to be done on earth as it is in heaven. By submission of our ego we, that is our real greater selves, can participate in God’s cosmic plan for Creation.

How can our submission make a difference to God’s great scheme?

It is because of the exquisite way in which all of Creation is related, networked and interconnected. ‘No man is an island’ said John Donne. He had no idea how right he was. In fact it applies to every thought, emotion and feeling of every living being, to the life of every creature great and small, to every action of every photon of light, every quark, atom, molecule, emergent system, black hole, galaxy, star and planet. Every event, on whatever scale, ripples out in ways beyond our power to conceive.

All particles were entangled in the cosmic singularity from which the universe was created: they continue to be related   – past, present and future.

Lord forgive my claustrophobic prideful non-belief of the past. I might have died of boredom without the music of Baroqo. Where did I think that came from? Perhaps I had to go through non-belief to appreciate your wonder and glory. Praise the Lord!
